Ringkasan dalam bahasa Melayu

1. Who we are

SpeakMelayu ("we", "us") provides online Malay-language courses, practice tools and an AI tutor called Cikgu AI at speakmelayu.com. You can reach us at [email protected]. By using the site, you agree to these terms.

2. Who can use SpeakMelayu

You may use SpeakMelayu if you are 18 or older, or if you are younger and a parent or guardian has agreed to these terms and pays for the subscription.

3. Free lessons and subscriptions

4. Your access code

After payment you receive an access code that, with your email, unlocks your courses on any device. Keep it private. Accounts are for one learner; sharing access codes or reselling access is not allowed, and we may suspend access that is clearly being shared.

5. Cikgu AI and credits

6. Certificates

When you finish every unit of a course and pass every quiz, you can request a SpeakMelayu certificate of completion. Anyone with the certificate number can check it on our verification page, which shows the name you entered, the course and the date. A SpeakMelayu certificate is not an accredited qualification and does not replace a university grade, an SPM result or any official language test.

7. Invite-a-friend programme

Subscribers can share a personal invite code. A friend who uses it gets the advertised discount on their first month, and the subscriber receives Cikgu AI credits for each friend who subscribes. Using your own code, creating accounts only to collect rewards, or other abuse may lead to the rewards being removed. We may change or end the programme at any time; rewards already earned are kept.

8. Our content

The lessons, dialogues, illustrations, audio, quizzes and other materials on SpeakMelayu belong to SpeakMelayu or are used with permission. You may use them for your own learning. You may not copy, publish, sell or share them in bulk, or use automated tools to download them.

9. Availability and changes

We work to keep SpeakMelayu available and accurate, and we regularly improve the courses. We may update, reorganise or replace lessons and features. The site may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance or for reasons outside our control.

10. Liability

SpeakMelayu is provided for language learning. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act 1999 or other laws that cannot be excluded.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change significantly affects paying subscribers, we will tell you by email before it takes effect.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. If there is a difference between the English text and the Malay summary, the English text applies.
